PHI in collaboration with the Eastern Mediterranean Public Health Network (EMPHNET)

The Public Health Institute (PHI) in collaboration with the Eastern Mediterranean Public Health Network (EMPHNET) welcomed it’s first batch of the Field Epidemiology Training Program on the 30th of October 2017. Fifteen residents were selected for this cohort representing different states in Sudan including West and South Darfur, River Nile State, South Kordofan, Blue Nile state, Kassala and Khartoum. As part of the opening ceremony we had Dr. Mohand AlNasour and Dr. Haitham Basheer from EMPHNET who shared their knowledge and experience about the program and the regional activities of the network to the residents.
